“Some power is forged by the hammer. Other power is summoned from the darkness.”

There are genetics whose ancestry follows a simple path.

Blue Voodoo does not.

Born from the union of Blue Ravioli × Natal Moon, Blue Voodoo brings together two unusual modern bloodlines and carries genetics associated with the meeting of the cubensis and ochra worlds.

It is a cross already built around contrast.

Earth and moon.

Body and spirit.

The familiar and the strange.

Even its name sounds less like a mushroom and more like something whispered around a fire after midnight.

BLUE VOODOO.

And within Valhalla, that name carries a very different meaning.

🔵 THE BLUE SORCERY OF VALHALLA

Far beneath the enormous roots of Yggdrasil lies a place the warriors of Asgard refuse to enter after darkness falls.

It is called The Moonlit Marsh.

No sun reaches it.

No road leads through it.

Ancient roots twist from black water while blue mist crawls endlessly across the ground.

And when the moon reaches its highest point—

something beneath the earth awakens.

From the darkness rise the mushrooms known as Blue Voodoo.

Their bodies emerge like strange relics of another realm—powerful fungal forms illuminated by spectral blue energy, their surfaces marked by deep azure tones that resemble runes appearing beneath living flesh.

Around them, mycelium spreads through the earth like glowing veins.

But the warriors who first discovered the grove noticed something disturbing.

The blue light did not remain still.

It moved.

It traveled through the mycelial network.

From mushroom to mushroom.

From root to root.

Until the entire forest floor seemed connected by one enormous living sigil.

ᛚ LAGUZ — THE RUNE OF THE UNKNOWN

At the center of the marsh stands a stone older than Asgard itself.

Carved into it is Laguz

the rune associated with water, intuition, flow, and the mysterious forces hidden beneath the surface of the world.

Every night the rune begins glowing blue.

The marsh becomes silent.

The water becomes perfectly still.

And Blue Voodoo awakens around it.

The ancient seers believed these mushrooms grew where the boundaries separating worlds had become dangerously thin.

Not entirely Midgard.

Not entirely Asgard.

Not entirely somewhere else.

A place caught between realms.

And that is why the old warriors called Blue Voodoo:

THE MUSHROOM OF THE VEILED REALM.

According to the legend, anyone standing inside the grove beneath a full moon would eventually notice reflections appearing upon the black water.

At first, they would see themselves.

Then Yggdrasil.

Then the stars.

But eventually the reflection would show something that wasn't standing beside them.

Mountains belonging to worlds they had never visited.

Cities beneath unfamiliar stars.

Figures moving behind the trees.

Doors where no doors existed.

The seers believed Blue Voodoo didn't create these visions.

It merely revealed what was already hidden.

Because some mysteries cannot be conquered with an axe.

Some cannot be understood through strength.

And some doors were never meant to be opened by warriors at all.

They were meant to be seen.
